Folgarida, part 1: mountains

Every time you go to Italy by car or by bus you have to pass Brennero - a mountain pass which leads you from Austria to Italy. Every time when I was there I promised to myself that I would come back to see these mountains once again.

The Dolomites are incredible. They are huge, proud, their peaks covered in snow protrude beyond everything. The majesty of Alps is something you should rally see in your life.

At first I was just looking, then I took my camera and I made some pictures. And every time I put my camera away, I noticed something new, something incredible. Have a look:

So, I really fell in love with the Alps and I want to come back there. Maybe, i will have a chance in the future, maybe I will have a chance to see it from the other perspective. Anyway, if you hesitate: to go or not to go, I can ensure you it is really worth seeing.

Spring's coming and I'm shattered!

Despite of the fact that I am looking forward to going to Folgrida, having some fun and taking a rest from everything that is going on here, on the other hand I am looking forward to spring. This winter is really long, and even if there was (there is) not much snow, I am very tired of this strange weather.

Maybe the luck of snow is the problem. Normally, if you see it everywhere, you know it’s still winter. But this year, just like the last one, we haven’t seen a lot of snow. So maybe our brain thinks: “if there is no snow, it cannot be winter, so it must be spring or summer, and it should be hot, but it isn't, so... what is really going on??!”.

For this I feel shattered, I cannot bring any of my plans to a close and it frustrates me. Is it just me, or maybe everybody feels the same way? The only thing that helps me to do all homework and study a bit are my lists of things-to-do. Without it I swear, I would only sit, watch TV series and paint my nails.

PS. In Folgarida I am going to make lots and lots of photos J

Folgarida and moving house

In these last days I feel sooo good: and there are a few reasons.

The first is, I go to Foldarida with my parents and my friends. It’s a little village in Italian Dolomits where you can ski, do snowboard and enjoy the beautiful views. Despite of having fun I’m going to go to Trento, a beautiful city on the East-South of Folgarida. My mom has just checked it on Internet and she likes it, so I’m going to plan all trip and I will visit yet another place of my places-to-visit-in-Italy list.

The other reason of my happiness is that we move house! I’m not going to live with those two awful girls any more (the third one is okay). I will not have to look for everything, I will not be surprised by the unexpected guests and I will not have to wake up earlier to get to the bathroom. I look forward even to packing my bags and calling a moving service!!!

In the meantime, I have lots and lots of things to do, but the thoughts of the nearest future make me feel very, very excited! J

Talking books

It is really hard for me to stop listening to the audiobook right now, but - since my classes have been cancelled and I have some time before dinner, I have decided to write my first post in this, second, term. It will concern audiobooks, of course, because lately I do not do anything else but listening to them - everywhere and almost every second.
In the two last weeks I "read" this way 3 or 4 books. At the moment I've been listening to the "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. At the beginning I wasn't really sure if I wanted to listen exactly to this book, but after several minutes I had no more doubts. Now I am right in the middle of the second part of the trilogy. And I cannot stop listening.

Some people say that it is a kind of a shortcut and I agree with this opinion. Anyway, since I have really little time, it is the only way to get to know some books, and to do it in a really pleasant way. Of course, not every book is available, but for now I find them on Youtube. And I could recommend this method to everybody, also to those people who find some time for reading. Why?

Well, the best is, you do not waste your time (or, at least you do not FEEL to be wasting your time) because you can listen to the talking book when you iron, prepare food, clean, when you travel in the bus, walk and whatsoever. Practically, it means at least 1 or 2 hours a day. It means, you are able to listen to all book in even 4 days.

In my opinion, it is much better that watching the tv or sitting, bored, in the bus. The only thing you have to do, is to keep your phone always charged. So, what do you think? Have you ever tried it?
